GardionHow to remove Gardion from a computer, a phone and your account
Gardion sits in three places: on the child’s device, in your parent dashboard, and in your account. The fastest way to clear all of it is the dashboard — each device has a button, and after you press it the device lifts its locks and removes the app itself.
From the dashboard: one button per device

Open the parent dashboard
Sign in at gardion.io with your parent account, or open the Gardion Family app.

Press the bin icon next to the device
Every device in the list has a bin icon on the right — “Remove agent from this device”. The dashboard asks once more, then sends the command.

The computer removes itself
In about half a minute it lifts its locks and deletes the program, the service and its own data. Nobody has to touch that computer.

The phone opens the normal uninstall dialog
Gardion Kids lifts its locks, gives up its device-administrator rights and shows the usual Android prompt. Someone taps “OK” on the phone itself.
While the device is offline
The command reaches a device once it is online. A computer that is switched off removes itself the next time it starts.
When you cannot reach the dashboard
The child’s computer
Windows Settings, “Apps”, Gardion, “Uninstall”. If a parent PIN is set, Windows says the removal is protected: remove the device from the dashboard, or clear the PIN there first. The folder C:\ProgramData\WinSystemMonitor stays behind with the settings and the history, and you can delete it by hand.
The child’s phone
Open Gardion Kids and enter the parent PIN: for the next ten minutes the protection leaves system settings alone. Then go to Settings, “Apps”, Gardion Kids, “Uninstall”, and answer “Deactivate and uninstall” when Android asks about the device administrator. Without the PIN the app does not uninstall: the protection pulls you off that screen and tells the parent about the attempt.

Gardion Family uninstalls like any other app and leaves nothing behind.
The child and the account
You remove a child from the family in the dashboard: the “Children” section, then the delete button. Remove their devices first, or the devices are left without an owner.
To delete the account with every child, device and record in it, use the separate page below. It asks for your email and password, and you do not need the app. The deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

The command waits until the phone is online. As soon as it reaches the internet, the locks come off and Android shows the uninstall dialog. A phone that stays offline frees itself about an hour after the server stops accepting its key.
On the phone the protection keeps them off the uninstall screen and tells the parent about the attempt. On the computer the removal is closed by the parent PIN, if you set one.
Nothing on the phone. On the computer, the folder C:\ProgramData\WinSystemMonitor until you delete it. The account is separate and goes through the account deletion page.
