GardionHow to remove Gardion from a computer, a phone and your account
Gardion sits in three places: on the child’s device, in your parent dashboard, and in your account. The fastest way to clear all of it is the dashboard — each device has a button. After you press it, a computer removes itself, and a phone lifts its locks and opens the uninstall dialog.
From the dashboard: one button per device

Open the parent dashboard
Sign in at gardion.io with your parent account, or open the Gardion Family app.

Press the bin icon next to the device
Every device in the list has a bin icon on the right — “Remove Gardion from the device”. The dashboard asks once more, then sends the command.

The computer removes itself
In about half a minute it lifts its locks and deletes the program, the service and its own data. Nobody has to touch that computer.

The phone opens the normal uninstall dialog
Gardion Kids lifts its locks, gives up its device-administrator rights and shows the usual Android prompt. Someone taps “OK” on the phone itself.
While the device is offline
The command reaches a device once it is online. A computer that is switched off removes itself the next time it starts.
When you cannot reach the dashboard
The child’s computer
Windows Settings, “Apps”, Gardion, “Uninstall”. The uninstaller asks for the parent PIN or this computer’s recovery code, and you get three tries. The recovery code is in the Gardion Family app under “More”, “Devices”, then this computer. After a manual uninstall the folder C:\ProgramData\WinSystemMonitor stays behind with the settings and the history, and you can delete it by hand.
The child’s phone
Open Gardion Kids and enter the parent PIN: for the next ten minutes the protection leaves system settings alone. If you forgot the PIN, tap “Forgot the PIN” and enter this phone’s recovery code, which is also in Gardion Family under “More”, “Devices”. Then go to Settings, “Apps”, Gardion Kids, “Uninstall”, and answer “Deactivate and uninstall” when Android asks about the device administrator. Without the PIN or the code, the protection pulls you off the uninstall screen and tells the parent about the attempt right away.

Gardion Family uninstalls like any other app and leaves nothing behind.
The child and the account
You remove a child from the family in the dashboard: the “Children” section, then the delete button. Remove their devices first, or the devices are left without an owner.
To delete the account with every child, device and record in it, use the separate page below. It asks for your email and password, and you do not need the app. The deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

The command waits until the phone is online. As soon as it reaches the internet, the locks come off and Android shows the uninstall dialog. While the phone has no connection, the command cannot reach it.
On the phone the protection pulls the child off the uninstall screen and tells the parent about the attempt right away. Removing Gardion on the device itself takes the parent PIN or a recovery code, and on a computer the uninstaller always asks for one of them.
Nothing on the phone. After a command from the dashboard, the computer deletes its folder too. After a manual uninstall, the folder C:\ProgramData\WinSystemMonitor stays on the computer until you delete it. The account is separate and goes through the account deletion page.
