Who makes Gardion

My name is Aleksandr. I live in Volgograd, Russia, and I wrote Gardion for my own son.

He is thirteen and he has scoliosis. The doctor told him not to sit still for hours and to get up and stretch. Agreeing on it verbally never worked: time disappears at a computer, and a reminder goes straight past a kid.

I started with Family Link. The settings took me a long time to work through, and what I needed was not there — no breaks with a warm-up, no proper limits on the computer.

I write code, so I built it myself. That is where the breaks came from: every half hour the screen locks, Botty shows an exercise, and the screen stays locked until the child does it. Daily limits, schedules, website blocking and bypass protection came later.

What Gardion does not do: read messages, watch the screen secretly or record sound. I would not want that tool in my own family, which is why I never built it.

Gardion runs on Windows and Android and is still in testing. That is why there are no reviews and no ratings on this site — they will appear when real ones exist.
