What Gardion does

Everything below is included in Premium. Family covers the core: limits, schedules, bypass protection, GPS with one zone, SOS and chat.

Bypass protection

Gardion blocks VPN apps on Windows and catches clock changes on both the PC and the phone.

A second user profile on Android: Gardion tells you about it.
Forgot your PIN? A recovery code replaces it, and it works offline.
Gardion restores its own files on the PC. Removing it takes the parent PIN or a recovery code.
On Android, if your child turns on their own VPN, you get a notification. Turn on “Filter over VPN” and Gardion switches the other VPN off.

Per app, and separately for weekdays and weekends.

TikTok ten minutes, Roblox an hour — a limit per individual app.
Schedules for school hours and bedtime. Ready-made day modes: school day, vacation, sick day, weekend, guests, holiday.
A limit for a group of apps, such as all games. The daily limit can be shared across your child’s devices or set per device.
School mode is part of Premium: during lessons your child keeps access to school apps and sites.
Your child asks for “+15 minutes” from the device, and you decide.
School holidays are set by dates. On those days the school hours in your schedule are skipped, and bedtime still applies.
During “Everything open on a schedule”, limits and breaks are off and time isn’t counted. Blocked apps and the website filter keep working.

At set intervals Gardion calls your child to get up and move.

Three levels: an animation, an exercise video, or a warm-up in front of the camera.
The camera turns on only during the warm-up, and only on that level.
Helpful when a doctor has asked your child to get up and stretch regularly.
There are ten kinds of exercises in rotation: squats, jumping jacks, side bends and more. Each finished warm-up earns your child a star, up to five a day by default.

Your child earns screen time through chores and schoolwork. Chores are part of Premium.

You set a task, your child marks it done in their own app.
Completed tasks earn stars, and stars buy rewards that you define yourself.
Your child sees tasks on Android. On Windows, stars from breaks trade for minutes.

Where your child is and whether they got there. Android only.

Home, school, clubs: you get an alert when your child enters or leaves a zone. Family includes one zone, and Premium lets you add as many as you need.
Your child sends an SOS from the lock screen, the quick settings or a home-screen widget, and you get their location and battery level. Without a connection, the alert goes out as soon as the phone is back online.
There is no geolocation on Windows; this is a phone feature.

Chat with your child, screenshots on request, activity history.

You message your child and get a reply right inside the app — no third-party messenger needed.
Premium: request a screenshot, and your child confirms it on their screen. The screen is never recorded continuously.
What was launched and for how long — all in the parent dashboard.
In the browser history, tick the sites and block or allow them with one button. History is kept for three days on Family and thirty days on Premium.
In Premium, you get an alert when your child opens a site with a flagged word.
The weekly chart splits each day into ordinary time, extra time, admin mode, lesson and unlocked time. Tap a day to see it hour by hour.
